The Trust has focused for the last 10 years into creating companies that provide a vehicle for the commercialization of environmental technologies and services. These technologies and service companies are now helping to clean the earth and water as well as address the very serious issues of Climate Change both by way of reduction in greenhouse gas production and other dangerous particulates that pollute the air.

More recently the Emerald Planet Trust has become involved in biofuels and sustainable forestry in Asia as well as sustainable development and is researching eco-tourism and conservation in the forests of Borneo.

The operation of the Trust is dedicated to the belief that all form requires a structure and that the creation of lasting beauty and abundance comes from the correct application of inspiration, structure, discipline and compassion.

The trust is operated by its Trustee - Michael J Robison.

Michael has been in company ownership and management for 30 years with a focus on technology incubation for the past 10 years. He was a founding shareholder and Chairman of an environmental technology incubator. Under Michael’s direction the incubator invested over $2million of seed capital and raised in excess of $10 million of venture capital for the initiation and development of various technologies.

His experience has particularly been focused into:

  • the creation of innovative companies
  • seed capital provision and raising
  • recruitment of executive teams and corporate boards
  • company management, direction and development
  • business analysis and the implementation of management structures
  • venture, development and expansion capital raising
  • negotiation of joint ventures
  • preparation of technology companies for stock exchange listing.

As trustee of the Emerald Planet Trust he continues to initiate and invest in environmental companies. He has a particular interest in creating companies that will act as a catalyst for change and that satisfy the global requirement for new forms of ethical investment.

In this regard Michael is a Director and/or founding shareholder of Emerald Planet Asia Biofuels and Forestry Limited, Dolomatrix International Limited, Climate Friendly Pty Ltd, Filtra Limited, Emerald Valley Villa, Save The World Air Limited, Weed Control Australia Limited and Youngheart Animation. He was the Chairman of Dolomatrix International Limited (ASX code – DMX) until it completed a back-door listing and capital raising underwritten by ABN Amro Morgans Corporate Limited which resulted in the merged entity being listed on the ASX.

He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
